Mathematics

In Numeracy we will be working with numbers to 20. This will include counting, adding, subtracting, sharing and exploring tens and ones. Students will be involved in problem solving activities involving addition and subtraction. We will also begin identifying and counting Australian coins.

Children will continue to learn about measurement with a focus on sorting and comparing objects that are empty, half full or full. They will also sequence the days of the week, months of the year and learn about clock time.
