WOMBAT STEW
Wombat Stew is about a Dingo who is SOOO hungry for Wombat stew. It
is illustrated by Pamela Lofts and written by Marci K Vaughan. I think this would be a
great read because it can teach your child about all the Australian animals. It also has some funny rhymes to follow along to, and to add on, it has hilarious Illustrations.
I recommend this as an entertaining read. Mathiang
WOLF GIRL 4
Everyone know the famous author, Anh Do! Well today is your lucky day, because Anh Do has published new books called Wolf Girl, and I think you should read them. Read, why? Well, Wolf Girl and her pack run into danger, including massive, venomous snakes and creepy komodo dragons. To add to that, someone is missing: could there be a traitor among the pack? How are they going to survive? Read to find out….. Oliver
MAGNUS CHASE AND THE HAMMER OF THOR
Rick Riordan, writes hilarious and adventurous stories. This book is about someone who has stolen Thor’s hammer again and who better to try and retrieve it than Magnus Chase and his squad. (The hammer hasn’t been taken by just anyone)…. it’s fallen into the enemy hands and if Magnus doesn’t retrieve it, then everything will be destroyed. I recommend this book for older readers. Luca
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Who doesn’t know Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling? Harry Potter and the Goblet of
Fire is an awesome book because there is a lot of action and it is very exciting to read. In this book there are three tasks to fulfil throughout the school year and there are three would be champions… get the golden egg without dying, survive underwater for at least ONE hour and save your most loved person, and lastly, there is a maze you need to go through.... but BEWARE of the traps. An adventurous read. Micah
Alpacas with Maracas
Alpacas with Maracas by Matt Cosgrove is terrific for little children to read aloud to their parents. The book is wonderfully illustrated with outstanding pictures for kids to visualise in their mind. The story is about two alpacas trying to win a talent show. Even though they don’t win they have a blast playing with their musical maracas! I definitely recommend this book to children of all ages, and if you wanted more, there are a series of these books to read. So pick up this book and start reading today! It really is an entertaining read… Esmond
