Winter has arrived and with that comes colder and wetter weather.  Many of us naturally spend more time indoors during the cooler months and for children that generally means additional screen time. With the school holidays approaching, many parents have shared their concerns about their child’s increased exposure to social media platforms. It is important that as parents we are aware of our child’s social media presence, but it can also be overwhelming and often we don’t know where to begin. E-safety has great resources for parents and children and it is definitely a valuable website for parents and their children.  www.esafety.gov.au/kids  

The City of Whitehorse has a list of activities for 

children over the school holidays to get them out and about.
