VTAC Postcard - " VTAC Planner" postcard with key dates and information for applicants. The card provides a summary of key dates for domestic Year 12 applicants at the time of printing (April 2022), and may be subject to change. Students are encouraged to visit the VTAC website throughout the year for a comprehensive list of dates and deadlines.

The Subject Selection Guide – this is a really comprehensive document/guide that you can give to students and steps them through all the things they need to think about when choosing senior subjects and how this can relate to future careers.

 

 

Year 10 Guide - This publication provides a general overview of the VCE subjects required for entry to particular sorts of higher education courses.

 

 

Selection Ranks by subject/Undergraduate Directory - The directory "undergraduate" gives you a very easy and efficient means of identifying options which you might realistically explore and aim for. In doing so, it will give you a great sense of possibility and opportunity.

Where to Now? 2023: Guide to senior secondary school pathways in Victoria is a useful careers counselling resource for Year 10 students and their parents and guardians regarding senior secondary options.

The guide contains information about:

  • the VCE
  • the VCE Vocational Major (VCE VM), which replaces Intermediate and Senior VCAL
  • the Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC) which replaces Foundation VCAL
  • how VET integrates with the VCE, VCE VM and VPC

VTAC

Students, parents, carers and supporters are warmly welcome to book in for VTAC's information webinars.

There will be two types of presentation on offer:

  • Applying for courses in 2023  : provides an overview of the entire application process, including researching courses, creating a VTAC account, preferences, results and offers. It also includes an overview of SEAS and scholarships.
  • Understanding special consideration (SEAS) and scholarships: provides detailed information about applying for SEAS and scholarships.

In addition, there will be a dedicated interstate student session on 28 July, and a webinar in conjunction with the CEAV on 10 August as listed below.

More information will be provided on the website shortly, and additional sessions can be scheduled if these book out.
