3-4 S.A.K.G 

This term we welcome Year 3 students to the kitchen garden program. So far, students have toured the kitchen and garden space and learnt about the equipment and safety processes. Each week, students will work in allocated team to tend to the garden and chickens or cook delicious healthy food using harvest from the garden.

During the term break, our local arborist delivered a pile of fallen tree mulch free of charge. Students absolutely loved getting their hands dirty and flexing their muscles to move and spread the mulch around areas of the garden. Check out our little gardeners in action.

As Covid infections exists in our school, we are not looking for volunteers in the kitchen currently. However, when we head towards warmer weather and the case numbers settles, we hope to see our wonderful volunteers back in the kitchen and garden.
