Last week on Friday we celebrated the Feast of the Sacred Heart. The Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus is a celebration that falls 19 days after Pentecost, on a Friday. The Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus emphasises God’s love and mercy. In fact, that love and mercy is so intense that the symbol of the sacred heart is a human heart encircled with a crown of thorns, crowned with a cross, and radiating flames: this is how much Christ loves us.
Grant, O Lord, to your Church, assurance of freedom and immunity from harm; give peace and order to all nations, and make the earth resound from pole to pole with one cry: Praise to the divine heart that wrought our salvation; to it be glory and honour forever. Amen.
Congratulations to those students who made the Sacrament of Confirmation last weekend. This is an important step on their faith journey as they become adult members of the Catholic Church.
As winter is upon us it is time for us to give generously to those in need who would otherwise go cold and hungry. We will be collecting these items as a school community and giving them to our local St Vincent De Paul Centre for distribution. If you could possibly donate any of the following items and bring them to the library by Friday 22nd July 2022.
Winter Woolies in new condition (not pre-owned or used) such as:
Toiletry items such as:
| Non-Perishable and in-date food items such as:

Any support that you might be able to provide will be greatly appreciated.
