Community consultation: The future of secondary education in the Eastern Sutherland Shire

In 2019, Sydney Catholic Schools conducted market research about the provision of Catholic education in the Eastern Sutherland Shire and the surrounding area. 

We are excited that, on the back of this research, Sydney Catholic Schools is reimagining the educational offerings in the Eastern Sutherland Shire. Your feedback is valuable in shaping the future offerings of our secondary colleges, and in providing the best possible educational outcomes for our students now and into the future.

We encourage you to click here to visit this new engagement portal, where we are inviting your input on the proposed schooling models that have been put forward for the Eastern Shire. Submissions will close on 29 July after which the portal will serve as a community information site. 

In addition, a community consultation evening will be held on Monday 25th July, from 6.30pm in the school hall at De La Salle Catholic College Caringbah (389 Port Hacking Road). Light refreshments will be provided. 

During this session, parents will have the opportunity to share their ideas and feedback on the proposed schooling models, and to ask members of Sydney Catholic Schools’ leadership team any questions they may have. 

Your feedback plays a vital role in helping to plan for the future of secondary education in the Eastern Shire and I encourage everyone to have their say over coming weeks.

Curriculum Taster Days

Boys in Year 4, are invited to attend De La Salle Caringbah on Thursday, 15th September, to experience a hands-on sample of the Year 7 curriculum.
