FACE THE WASTE STARTUP

After winning the State Final for their startup a few weeks ago, our Year 9 Face the Waste team (Josie Hunt, Angel Babu, Charlotte Selth and Emily Logan) were invited to present at the West Australian Return, Renew, Recycle Limited (WARRRL) Seminar. WARRRL is a not-for-profit company that are responsible for Containers for Change

The feedback after the presentation was awesome. It was reported that they blew the audience “out of the water” with their presentation. The students stunned the audience with the depth of their planning and professionalism. They were able to answer numerous curly questions like seasoned entrepreneurs!

They each received a voucher for $50, as well as a letter of thanks and acknowledgement from the CEO. This is bound to look fabulous in any CV file!
