Maths Student of the Week
Elijah Bruns
Elijah is a student with much ability in the area of Mathematics, currently studying Units 3/4 Maths Methods and Specialist Maths.
An independent and resilient student who sets a high standard for himself, he has a questioning approach as he seeks to gain much more than a cursory understanding of concepts and how they can be applied.
This has been exemplified by his results in the recent Maths Methods SAC where he achieved a near perfect score. This was done without the support of a summary book (which he forgot to bring – not something that is recommended but it does show that when you gain a depth of understanding of concepts and processes through thorough revision, your need to consult notes will be minimised)!
