Healesville Sanctuary

Our Year 7 students recently visited Healesville Sanctuary to collect data to support their studies for the Classification Topic in Science. 

During this excursion, students were encouraged to explore and take photographs of our unique flora and fauna in their natural habitat. We were also lucky to experience the ‘Spirits of the Sky’ show, featuring low flying native birds and participate in the ‘Food Webs and Classification’ educational program. 

Many thanks to Ms. Atilla, Ms. Benincasa, Ms. Lily and Mr. Sivakumaran who gave up their regular classes and appointments to attend and support this excursion.
