K-6 Sport
Year 2 King Fit
Year 2 will be continuing sessions with Nick King each Friday. At the centre, they will work on strength, balance and locomotion activities. The cost is $3.00 each week. Please pay your child’s classroom teacher on a weekly basis. They will go for another 4 weeks. Students will be transported by bus to and from the centre. Please label your child’s shoes and socks as these are removed while participating in activities at the centre.
Polding Athletics
Good luck to our 7 students who are going to the Polding Athletics Carnival on Friday in Newcastle to represent the Armidale Diocese - Kane Cameron, Kaidhn Holder, Darcy Oakes, Luke Readett, Katelyn Orchard, George Bowden and Fletcher Andrews. A big thank you to Miss Emma Starkie who is accompanying the children as Diocesan Manager.
Todd Woodbridge cup
Good luck to our Stage 2 Tennis team who are competing in the next round of the Todd Woodbridge cup in Tamworth on Monday. Students have been training hard during their breaks and greatly appreciate our local Tennis Coach, Shayne, coming to school to offer his expertise during the breaks. Mrs Ditchfield will be accompanying the team on the day.
Year 3-6 Sport
Students in years 3-6 will continue their Winter sports this term. League will be at school and Netball and Soccer will travel to the complex each week (there is no cost). Students will be accompanied by teachers and teacher support staff each week.
Year 3-6 Gala Day
Holy Trinity will be entering the Armidale Diocesan Gala Day in Netball & Soccer. This is a competition for students in grades 3 - 6. It is being held on Friday 16 September, commencing at 9:30 am. Trials are expected to finish at approximately 2:00 pm. Netball will be held at the Sports Dome Netball complex, Jack Smyth Drive, and Soccer will be at Gipp St playing fields, Tamworth. The number of teams we can send will be dependent on student interest.

Students are competing in the last round of our house competition this week, good luck to all teams.
Diocesan Basketball
Good luck all students going to Tamworth this Friday for the Armidale Diocesan Basketball day. Students are travelling by private car and are encouraged to speak with parents to arrange transport and carpooling.
