Year 5/6

This week we have been busy mapping and reading grid systems. We have explored Cartesian Planes through mini lessons, playing battle ships and creating our own masterpieces with co-ordinates/ordered pairs. We must remember that we  read the x axis and then the y axis and we like this mnemonic, Across the river then up or down the mountain.

Darcy went for a drive last weekend and visited "The Block".  How exciting!
