Year F/1

On Monday,  we were practising skip counting using coins, which was lots of fun!

Buddy Reading is when each member of our class reads their books to another student. This is a great time to practise fluency and accuracy. They also ask questions about their books to practise their oral language and listening skills.  We love reading!⭐️⭐️⭐️

In F/1 we like to read:

Aria - I like to read ballerina books and Elsa books. 

Sienna - I like to read chapter books about Billie B Browne and books about mermaids. 

Evie - I like to read Shera books. 

Jaxon - I like to read made up stories about monsters and everything! 

Billie - I like Elsa books and books about horses and unicorns. 

Edith - I like to read books about feelings. 

Hunter - I like to read non-fiction books that are about nature, animals and bees. 

Rocco - I like books about dinosaurs. 

Ivy - I love to read books about Ella and Olivia. 

Ms Ferrier - loves to read books about solving mysteries and reading books to her grandson!
