Japanese Speech Competition

On August 28, three Year 10 students, Mukesh Kanniyappan (individual division), Rivindi Fonseka and I (both in the pair division) participated in the JLTAV (Japanese Language Teachers Association of Victoria) speech competition at Hawthorn Arts Centre. The three of us went into the competition with a lot of excitement and many months of preparation. When we eventually arrived at the event, we were completely bewildered at the sheer amount of people present at the event (about 100 or so). After a fierce competition (and 3 hours of waiting) Rivindi and I managed to come second place. Everyone worked extremely hard and despite some frustrating moments, we all had a lot of fun. ありがとうございました。
