Book Week

What a wonderful week we had last week with dressing up, special literacy activities, the book fair and even 7pm Story Time online! 

Well done to everyone who participated in the Book Week parade on Tuesday. We had so many fabulous costumes and it was lovely to have so many family members stay to enjoy the parade. Our judges used some different criteria this year to vote on the winning costumes, such as creativity, sustainability and "I hardly recognised you!" and they all agreed it was a tough decision.

A special congratulations to our Book Week Costume winners:

Junior School: Joshua (Prep), Xavier (Prep) & Esha (1/2K)

Middle/Senior School: Maria (5/6C), Alexander (3/4B) & Josh (5/6T)

Best Group: Adventure Time - Elaine, Lucy, Ruby & Micah (5/6)

Book Fair

A HUGE thank you for all those who supported our Book Fair this year. 

The school received $650 worth of books from the fair to add to our library, and over $150 in rewards to use for future purchases. We had a few students from each class come through the fair to create a special wish list for the library, and I am please to report that we were able to get all of the books that they chose, plus more! A fabulous result that can be enjoyed by all of our students.
