A note from Mr Jackson

An Ongoing Focus On Mathematics

We have been excited today to have Michael Minas visit us to remind students and teachers about the richness of mathematics. Michael taught a range of students with teachers listening and learning along the way. It was a great opportunity for students to engage in rich conversations and challenges and teachers to continue to explore the possibilities of differentiation within their classrooms. Our focus on mathematics over our current strategic plan has enabled staff to build our teachers’ practice and continue to see our students improve.

Working Bee Thanks

A special thanks to all those who helped with the Working Bee on Saturday morning. A range of timber garden edging was renewed, paths were blown, trees pruned, mulch was shifted to cover newly planted trees and gutters cleared. A BBQ after the event was a wonderful moment to celebrate all that had been accomplished! Thanks to all who participated.

Father’s Day Stall Another Huge Success

A special thanks to our FORPS parents for organising this special event. Students went home with a range of goodies today. I hope all who receive a special gift on the weekend take time to celebrate the significance of our relationships with each other.
