ASPS Parents Association Executive Committee 2020

Jane Khoo | President

My son James is in Grade 3 in 2020 and little Clara will start prep in 2021. I have enjoyed contributing fresh ideas and generating new opportunities for the PA over the past two years as Vice-President. I am thrilled to step up as President in 2020 and continue to make a difference to our school community.

I work as a Neuropsychologist specialising in brain injury rehabilitation at Alfred Health and also privately. I aim to use my past experience leading volunteer–based teams in non-profit organisations to foster positive change for our school. I am always happy to have a chat, so please feel free to approach me if you have any queries, feedback or skills you would like to share.

Jean Tan | Vice-President

I am looking forward to continue on PA for the coming 2020 school year in an Executive Committee role with an inspiring team. I have Spencer, in Grade 1, and Greta, who will join ASPS in 2022. I work as a Nephrologist at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and am part of the renal bone disease research team. The ASPS community is an amazing network and I am continually astounded by the support, passion, commitment and drive. I hope we will continue to build on our strengths in 2020.

Susie White | Secretary

This is my second year as secretary, the first being a big learning curve as I'd never done that role before! The Parents Association team are really wonderful to work with and we all use our differing skills well together. PA meetings are always upbeat, productive and speedy! I have one child Maddy who will be in Grade 1 in 2020 and I have my own small business as a Declutter Coach. I've really enjoyed meeting new people through the volunteering I've done around school and the lovely friendships I've made. Looking forward to all that 2020 will have in store for me at Auburn South!

April Tyo | Treasurer

I joined the Parents’ Association as Treasurer in my son, Lachie’s, first year at Auburn South. It has been a great way to immerse myself in the school community and to be able to see the all the passion, commitment and effort of the incredible parents who volunteer their time to put on such wonderful events for the school. It has also been wonderful seeing the funds raised contribute to making the school a better place for our kids. I help small to medium businesses with their financial management and bookkeeping through my business, so it is great to be able to support the PA and events team with my accounting skills and share my knowledge. I look forward to an even better 2020!
