Footscray Art Prize

No Paths

The 2019 Footscray Art Prize has a total of 202 artworks across four categories and will be displayed in two exhibitions showcasing shortlisted artworks.

Our Year 12 student and budding young artist, Sarena-Djawas Werts, will exhibit her piece titled ‘As a traveller there are no paths. Paths are made by walking’.

The Footscray Art Prize is a biennial non-acquisitive visual arts prize open to local and national artists across multiple disciplines.

It represents a significant overview of Australia’s contemporary art scene that supports and fosters the arts and celebrates artistic vibrancy and creativity.

We wish Sarena the best of luck.
