Hospitality Career Opportunities 

On Wednesday June 12th, 12 students visited Pullman Melbourne On The Park where they were able to see and experience a variety of different career areas in hospitality.

This industry immersion experience offered students and teachers the opportunity to go behind the scenes at one of Accor's top Melbourne Hotels to get a real world taste of life working in the Visitor Economy Industry.

Activities on the day included:

-A Hotel introduction and overview of the business including and the range of careers on offer in the industry.

-A tour of the front end of the hotel and back of house.

-Restaurant and bar service including setting up for an event.

-A buffet lunch prepared by the hotel’s Head Chef.

-Viewing of room set up and preparation.

-A Barista activity where students made their own coffees and hot chocolates.

-Making and creating their own mocktails.

A fantastic day was had by all!
