Semester One Reports

Semester 1 reports will be available for parents and students on Thursday July 11.  This is the last week of the holidays.  These reports will be available through the Compass system.  They are not posted home.  This saves on paper, printing and postage.  We are then able to use the money saved to improve facilities at school.  You will also have ongoing access to your child’s reports for all of their time at Kurunjang.

* Assessment and reporting is more effective when it is ongoing throughout the year.  Results online for Learning Tasks appear online as they are completed.

* Learning is best when you, your child and the school work together.

WHY COMPASS?

* This provides online Assessment and Reporting

* Parent access lets you view your child’s assessment tasks for the whole year

* Ongoing reporting allows you to encourage and support your child in completion of tasks

* Up to date information is available for your child including attendance, testing and school events

Ongoing reporting means that the end of semester reports will not be a surprise. You will receive much more information about your child’s learning throughout the whole year.

Logging on to Compass

* Your Parent Login was sent early this year.  If you have misplaced this or lost your password, contact Stephen Condie from the IT support team on 9743 9211.  The login details will be mailed to you.

Please take the time to view your child’s report before Semester 2 starts on Monday July 15.  It is important to start the term organised and with a positive view of how to be the best that they can be.
