Year 9/10

Year 9

The start of 2020 has been an incredibly busy time for our new Year 9's. With the start to their new Pathways to Success subject, our students have delved into the writing of both cover letters and resumes in preparation for their mock interviews which will take place in week 7. On that day, Year 9 students will only be required to attend the time slot they have been booked in for their interview with their external interviewer. In addition to this, students have already taken part in their Morrisby testing which will give them an indication of the type of careers they could potentially pursue.

Week 5 will see our students heading out to their first of four city experience excursions. This first one will have them visiting the magistrate's court where they will be able to witness court cases taking place as this excursion is in line with what they are learning in Humanities regarding the legal system in Australia. This year, we are equipping our students to continually learn and understand their personal impact on both the school and wider community around them.
