Students at Work

The visual art classrooms are very busy environments. Students engage in tasks whole-heartedly and are active participants in each lesson. Time flies and before they know it, it is time to pack up. There is a lesson there, a real positive for our subjects, as students need and value these hands-on experiences, really enjoying each process. Below is a snapshot of just a few classes in action. Whether it be a Year 10 portrait shoot, a Year 2 Chinese dragon creation, a Prep fish in bowl or character tea cup, the result will be an artwork but the learning is in the making and collaborating. I hope you enjoy the shots; a little ‘look in’ to what happens in our department on any given day.
