COVID-19 Update

A reminder that students, even with mild symptoms of COVID-19, are required to be sent home from school. Students who have been sent home or  are absent from school because they are showing any signs of COVID-19 must stay at home and cannot return to school until they return a negative COVID-19 result. All results must be sighted by the school on the student's return to school.

With current COVID restrictions in place we ask that parents not send in food to share for birthdays. If you would like to celebrate your child's birthday individually wrapped lollipops would be welcome.

We also remind parents and carers that you must not enter the school grounds under any circumstances. If you need to speak to a staff member please come to the office in Denison Street. All children must be collected in the afternoon from the Crown Street gates.

Chess

Chess has recommenced on Mondays and Wednesdays during the lunch break.  ALL chess pieces and boards have been cleaned and are wiped down after each session. All participants must wash their hands before and after playing with hand sanitiser.

If your child has never played chess before they are most welcome to join. Why Chess? Play Chess to learn and develop patience and thoughtfulness; increase cognitive skills;improve communication skills and aptitude in recognising patterns.
