Protein Data Base Project
Year 11 Studio Arts students have worked on the PDBArt collaboration with Structional Biologist Onisha Patel from The Walter and Eliza Institute of Medical Research in Melbourne and the Protein Data Bank in Europe.
They impressively researched and manipulated their chosen molecules and developed their personal themes in the unknown territory of round 1 remote learning in term 2.
Once they arrived back onsite, they created their artworks in a relatively short time frame. You can view our video link below to see how students briefly explain their ideas and showcase their final work.
I am really looking forward to seeing how round 2 of remote learning creatively extends these students with another exhibit of their work, newly developed themes and materials exploration unique to their own art practice.
