Faith, Justice & Formation

Archbishop Award for Student Excellence 2020

Congratulations Adam!

Last week saw Adam Muratore, of Year 12, presented with this prestigious award, recognising his contribution and commitment to study and faith. The ceremony was held via zoom which was a big difference to previous years. We are glad Adam’s parents could join Mr Castiglione, the Year 12 Coordinator, for this presentation. Below is the citation for Adam.

Adam Muratore is a truly humble and enthusiastic young man who aims to do well in his studies as well as being involved in every other aspect of College life. In his time at St Patrick’s College, Strathfield he has modelled service, helping wherever possible and showing commitment to various causes including Refugee and Reconciliation Weeks. He took part in the Alice Springs Immersion bringing back a passion for justice and shared humanity, and he volunteered with various justice partners. As the College’s Faith Formation/Spirituality Prefect Adam has been involved in all liturgical events as well all activities undertaken by the College’s Social Justice Action Group. He is an Extra-Ordinary Minister of Communion and he participated in the Archbishop’s Leadership Forum, all the time increasing his understanding of and commitment to the faith. Outside of school he is a regular attendee of St Ambrose Parish, Concord West.

Congratulations Adam!! We are very proud of you! We also acknowledge the other Year 12 boys who were nominated for the Award.
