College Happenings

Year 6 Graduation

Congratulations to our Year 6 students who celebrated graduating from Primary School. The students had a special graduation Assembly, where achievements were acknowledged, and the new Primary Student Leadership Team were announced.

This was followed by a Graduation Lunch for the Year 6 students where students could dress up for the occasion and celebrate together with fun activities, dancing and wonderful food.

Spreading Christmas Joy

Our Kindergarten students spread the joy of Christmas with a visit to a local retirement village. The students painted their own Christmas t-shirts and made gifts for the residents. On the day they presented their gifts, performed Christmas Carols and hosted a morning tea for the delighted residents.  We couldn't tell who enjoyed it more, the students or the residents! It was heartwarming to see our students being such a blessing to people of all ages.

Lest we forget. Remembrance Day

The King's College was invited to be involved in the Remembrance Day Service, held by the RSL League of Australia, Kwinana Sub-Branch.

Reverend Dr Michael Battersby led our music students, Matthias Joseph, Tapiwa Muduzu and Selena Villaflor with a meaningful hymn, "Abide with me" as the commemoration service started. They also represented The King's College in the laying of the wreath.

The service ended with the team singing "The Blessing" and the National Anthem.

We remember and honour all of the men and women of the Australian Defence Force who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
