Around The Primary
Dear Parents
Good News – our first ever John XXIII Disco is on tonight!
Good News – teachers and education assistants will be supervising and dancing!
Good News – everyone can come along and have some fun and still get to bed at a reasonable hour!
Good News – parents might just get an hour or so of peace and quiet to yourselves!
It will be ‘kiss and go’ at the doors of Roncalli Hall. Please understand that with so many students dancing and playing games in the hall, it doesn’t leave any room for parents in there too. If you wish to stay and wait, you are invited to walk across to the pavilion (near the gym) and have a chat with other parents.
Just a reminder, every student will need to bring a labelled drink bottle.
Let’s remember that every opportunity that your child is offered is the result of a lot of careful planning and hard work, generosity of time, and goodwill of staff. Please be mindful that staff have worked all day, so everybody’s full cooperation is needed to take children home on time! Children will not be allowed to leave the hall without a supervising adult.
Pre-Primary to Year 2 students to be collected promptly at 6:15pm and Year 3 to 6 students at 8pm.
We are sure that it will be a fun night!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone and thank you for your support.
Kind regards
Antoinette De Pinto

Sports Update
It certainly feels like summer when we begin tennis! It was great to have Nick Kirkbride back teaching our PP to Year 2 students again and the students' enthusiasm to be practicing tennis strokes with Nick.
A reminder for Pre-Primary to Year 3 parents to complete the swimming enrolment forms and return to class teachers before Tuesday 15 November.
Gymnastics State Championships
Congratulations to Avalei Edwards (4B) and Amelia Moloney (4B) on their participation in the WA State Championships representing PCYC Subiaco last weekend.
Avalei achieved a GOLD medal on ‘floor’ and Amelia achieved a SILVER medal on ‘vault’ – well done girls!
