Year 7 trial boarding

Last week a wonderful group of 2023 Year 7 boarders experienced their boarding trial in the Speirs and Macdonald Houses. Although some nerves were felt, these quickly dissolved as they received a warm welcome from our boarders and staff. I was so impressed with our senior boarders who set aside time to get to know our younger visitors.  Even George the dachshund enjoyed meeting the girls. The boys house was certainly a place with plenty of noise! Their energy was welcome and the basketball courts, pool table and football oval certainly received a good run.

Our Boarding House golf course!

Well, it may not be our golf course, however we are very lucky to have access to an 18 hole golf course directly across from our Boarding House. This community golf course is not only a place our boarders regularly and respectfully play on, but it is also a wonderful place for our students to walk around and relax; sometimes even seeing local identities.
