School Fees 2023

Dear Parents

With your recent Term 4 fee statement you have already received the 2023 fee schedule which has been recently approved and endorsed by the School Board, to provide future certainty and allow for family budgeting.

Parents/Carers will note an increase of 4.5% on the 2022 fees. With CPI rates having increased at over 6.1% this year please be reassured that Calrossy has done everything possible to limit our increase and ensure that the education provided is as affordable and value for money as possible. Our increase is at the lower end of what is projected across the independent sector. 

Amongst similar independent schools, both in the regions and metropolitan areas, our fee schedule is very competitive, both for tuition and boarding. 

A major expense for schools is staffing with a high proportion of yearly costs covering the employment and retention of high-quality teachers and support staff. Additional expenses such as fuel, power, food and educational materials have increased significantly though Calrossy has sought to absorb some of these increases within our fee schedule.

Be reassured that our school and its leadership remains committed to providing an excellent all-round education, value for money and supporting students of all ages and abilities in their growth, academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually. Also note that Calrossy school fees encompass sundry expenses that include most excursions, yearly school camps and expeditions, some sporting trips, textbooks and the majority of teaching materials. As a Not For Profit enterprise, the small surplus we generate is fully invested back into the education of students and improving the school environment to support best learning for current and future students.
