Teaching and Learning

From a teaching and learning perspective, we continued to be part of a learning collaborative with other Catholic primary schools in the Eastern region. We have been fortunate to have Dr Lyn Sharratt as our critical friend in the area of school improvement.

Lyn is a highly accomplished practitioner, researcher, author, and presenter. 

Recently, we attended and presented at a learning fair with 43 other Catholic schools. Our work focussed on the area of writing where we have created a learning wall for our students to assess themselves against and then create a learning goal in order to progress forward. 

Also, we are humbled to be represented in Dr Lyn Sharratt’s new book ‘Putting Faces on the Data 2nd Anniversary Edition’ where our journey is documented in many of the pages of chapter 1.
