Principal's Report

End of Year activities

We are in the process of planning the End of Year Assemblies and Year 6 Graduation. There are a number of COVID-safe protocols that must be adhered to for the safety of all students, staff and our community. 

The End of Year Assemblies will be held in Week 10. If your child is receiving an award, an invitation will be sent home this week. The assemblies will be held under the COLA so that we don't have to limit numbers but will encourage all families to follow COVID-safe guidelines. Entry and exit to the school will be through Gate 3.

Year 6 Graduation Ceremony is Monday 12th December. Year 6 families will receive invitations and times next week. The ceremony will also occur under the COLA.

Reports

Your child’s End of Year Report is being finalised next week and will be sent home on Wednesday 14 December. This report will contain information about the progress your child has made this semester.

P&C Meeting

Last Wednesday, we had our final P&C Meeting for 2022. It was face to face and well attended. The team put on a lovely morning tea and made some plans for 2023. I want to thank the P&C for their enthusiasm and efforts this year and look forward to working together in 2023.

Swimming Scheme

We have had our first week of Swim Scheme and this week our second group will attend. I want to thank the staff who have accompanied the students to the lessons. These lessons are a great opportunity for students to learn basic swimming skills and water safety.
