Swimming Update

During week 6, Albanvale Primary School has been participating in swimming lessons at the new Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre. The students have been placed into a level based on how confident they are at swimming and how much experience they have.

Students are really enjoying the program at the 5 star swimming pool that just opened about 2 months ago. Students have learnt many different swimming styles including Torpedo, Freestyle, Backstroke, and Diving in the last days. Everyone is looking forward to Friday, where we get to ride the waterslide and have fun in the water park section. 

It is very important for students to learn how to swim, because it is a skill that students need when they are in or around water. So it is great to see so many students enjoying their time at the Brimbank Aquatic Centre and learning life long skills.
