Kids Corner

This week’s Kids Corner section features something a little different. Friday 29th October was World Teacher’s Day and this year our School Captains wrote something special for our teachers. They even presented their speech at a special morning tea:

Jash:                Welcome to our celebration of World Teachers Day

Mihika:            World Teachers’ Day is when we appreciate teachers for their hard work and time that they have put into educating us and our peers.

Jash:                Wow! Our teachers are really, really hardworking so thank you all teachers for joining us on this special occasion

Hridhika:         Another hard-working year I must say covid has been tough for all of us but the way you teachers have helped us progress we will definitely not forget.

Manula:           Connecting with students who would’ve thought that it would be so hard to connect with students well not for the teachers at our school they showed their students that they are here for them no matter what.

Hridhika:         Each teacher has connected with their students one way or the other some may have sent letters and some may have made personally phone calls whatever way you used to connect with us we really appreciate it and will never forget the amount of support and dedication towards our education.

Mihika:           In closing we are really grateful for the way you all have communicated, supported and most importantly how you have ensured our learning and wellbeing is prioritised. a saying I would like to share is “Working in schools is like planting seeds, often we don’t see the result of our work for years” To conclude this speech. without further ado….

Mihika Jash Hridhika Manula:           HAPPY WORLD TEACHERS’ DAY!
