VOLLEYBALL

Victorian Schools Cup

This term on 26 - 27 May, we had 13 teams compete in the annual 1-Day Victorian Schools Cup (VSC) Volleyball tournament. The year 7 and 8 teams played on the Thursday, with the senior half of the school playing on the Friday. This was the year 7 team’s first taste of a Volleyball tournament in Kew colours and it was great to see the hard work they put in at training every week pay off on the court. Out of those 13 teams we entered, with 130 players in total, we brought home 5 medals! Even though all the players went back to school tired after up to 5 games on the one day, it was a great warm up tournament for the 3-Day VSC tournament which will be held within the first couple of weeks of Term 3. We look forward to continued success throughout the remaining tournaments of the year. Go Kew!
