Magis report 

Congratulations  to the many Magis students who received awards at Presentation Night on Wednesday. It was wonderful to see Magis secretary Grace Barbour receive the John XXIII Award, and key Magis Year 12’s Oscar Hegge, Caitlin Green and Bella Pether also win major prizes.  Another highlight was that our five Magis Year 12 committee members for 2022 listed below all received awards,  and outstanding performers in Magis this year:

 

  • Natalie Ong (Year 11)
  • Xavier Jeffrey (Year 9),  
  • Bianca Petsos (Year 8) 
  • Joy Cho (Year 7) 

All won the top academic award in each year.

 

The International Debating Competition final scores have now arrived, and the following students gained highest average marks:

The 2022 Magis calendar will be included in next week’s final 2021 newsletter.  The updated version of the 2022 Magis Chronicle with 50 pages of reports and over 300 photos is attached via the link below.  Glossy hard cover copies may still be ordered and the final order will be placed next Friday, with the chronicles available for collection in January. All who have previously ordered should now have received the Chronicle.
