Focus on Physical Education

The focus of Physical Education since returning to school has been to be active and play whole class or group games. 

The students have been so excited to be back onsite doing PE as a class I thought I would let them tell you all about it:

• I have enjoyed play a new sport I haven’t heard of before. ~ Gianni S, 6B
• It has been nice to be in a team again and work together. ~ Ava C, 6B
• It has been great to be around friends again, learning and improving together. ~ Olive ED, 6B
• I spent a lot of time walking, riding and running in lockdown so it is great do a sport I couldn’t do in lockdown. ~ Harvey R, 6B
• At school you have the correct equipment and an appropriate space for PE. ~ Patrick T, 3A
• When you are at school you can do activities with everyone not just by yourself. ~ Abigail M, 3A
• It is more fun; you don’t have to use socks. ~ Lila R, 3A
• We have enjoyed playing tiggy. ~ Winter Z (FE) & Sebastian M (FD)

Please note, when possible, PE lessons are taking place outside for all year levels. This means students need to have a SunSmart hat on during PE lessons. Can you please ensure your child has a SunSmart hat with them on days they have PE.
