Thank you to Mrs Sarah Bahramis for her outstanding efforts in organising this process, along with supporting and developing our student leaders.  Thank you also to Ms Helen Wilson and Ms Carla Caminiti for their efforts supporting this process.  We look forward to working with our wonderful School Captains and supporting their growth as they represent the rest of our students and our wonderful school community.

Return To Onsite Learning For All Students

It has been fantastic to welcome all students back on site for classes.  Thank you to all students, staff and parents and carers for your efforts during this time, there has been much excitement from our staff and students with their return and a positive feeling of support around everyone’s wellbeing and focus on learning face-to-face.

Unit 3 And 4 Examinations

The start of the examination period has gone very smoothly.  Thank you to Ms Helen Wilson, Ms Carla Caminiti and Mr Joel Treyvaud for their efforts in organising the VCAA examination period including following the relevant health guidelines and protocols.  Thank you to our Unit 3 and 4 teachers who have been supporting their students right up to their subject examination.

Tomorrow Man/Tomorrow Woman

Our Year 10 Students took part in the Tomorrow Man/ Tomorrow Woman program which creates a safe space for young men and women to express themselves and develop deeper connections within their cohort, while exploring and challenging gender stereotypes.  In light of the many challenges we have faced during the pandemic we were delighted for our students to have such a valuable session dedicated to them reconnecting with their cohort.

Thank you to Mrs Sarah Bahramis and Ms Mel Donegan for organising this opportunity for our students. Thank you to Ms Paige Jessulat and Mr Mitchell Land for organising the schedule and running of this program.

Interact Club

On Sunday 17 October, students and Interact teachers participated in a 30 minute Virtual Workout Challenge as part of a fundraising effort for the charity, Very Special Kids.

This incredible charity cares for children with life-threatening conditions by providing hospice and family support services to about 850 families across Victoria.

They have raised a large amount of money, thank you to everyone who donated. Well done to our Interact students, well supported by Mr Jon Christie and Ms Catherine Kyriakos!

Plan Your Own Enterprise Competition

Congratulations to three of our Year 11 Business Management students – Mia Blood, Marcel Boudville and Kobe Munnikhuis who were selected for the State Final in the Plan Your Own Enterprise Competition.  We are thrilled to hear that they came third overall, an outstanding achievement.  Well done and thank you to Ms Sally Sanderson who worked with these students and encouraged them in their efforts.

World Teachers’ Day

We celebrated World Teachers’ Day on Friday 29 October in recognition of everything our staff do to motivate, inspire, teach and support our students to be better learners and people.  They continue to make such a positive difference in the lives of our young people and their families. Our entire school community are extremely grateful for all of their efforts. It was lovely to read the thank you messages from our students to staff.
