It was so nice to see all the happy faces last Thursday. We look forward to seeing you all at our next transition day ion 25th November 11.30 - 1.30pm. See you all then.
MUSIC LESSONS AT SCHOOL - SINGING, GUITAR, UKELELE, PIANO
Expressions of interest for Music Lessons at school. Lessons would be on a Wednesday at school. At this stage, 10 students would be the maximum number I can take. Please note that these would be private lessons during school time at school. All contact would should be directly to me.

Lessons run for 28 minutes
Lessons will run from start of term if avail, alternatively, you will be notified when lessons can commence.
Lessons for the term are payable up front each term.
Lessons are $30 per lesson (payable to Meg - not through the school)
Introduction: My name is Meg Dohety and I am so excited to for your child to be enrolled to learn music with me at the school. As a musician of 23 years, I myself started taking guitar and vocal lessons at age 9, and it has helped me develop skills that I never dreamed I would learn. Learning a Musical instrument not only helps someone develop mentally, but socially and emotionally, it provides an outlet for children to express their creativity and talent. It has also been proved to strengthen a student’s academic performance. The benefits are endless!
VOCALS: we learn the foundations of singing, we have a few project songs a term, we work on breathing, range, performance, correct muscle technique, pitch, posture and musicality. Children will need to have a water bottle (this is very important for vocal lubrication). A PORT FOLIO FOLDER NEEDS TO BE SUPPLIED AND BROUGHT TO EVERY CLASS.
GUITAR: we learn the foundations of guitar, rhythm guitar, a few project songs a term, tuning, ear training, lead guitar and guitar theory. As well as classical guitar for the more advanced students. Children will need to supply their own guitar (If you need assistance in choosing the right guitar, please don’t hesitate to contact me) & a PORT FOLIO FOLDER NEEDS TO BE SUPPLIED AND BROUGHT TO EVERY CLASS.
PIANO LESSONS: A PORT FOLIO FOLDER NEEDS TO BE SUPPLIED AND BROUGHT TO EVERY CLASS.
UKULELE LESSONS: Children will need to supply their own ukulele (If you need assistance in choosing the right one, please don’t hesitate to contact me) & a PORT FOLIO FOLDER NEEDS TO BE SUPPLIED AND BROUGHT TO EVERY CLASS.
