VICE PRINCIPAL'S REPORT

The school year is quickly coming to the end, we are currently in the middle of the set up for the following year.  

If your child has any educational needs we should be considering when forming our grades, please make an appointment to discuss this with Mrs Strachan or myself prior to Thursday 25th of November.

Due to COVID restrictions, these appointments will most likely be via phone.  

Creating the grades is a very complex process and we try very hard to balance our classrooms to ensure ‘fairness’ for all, so once the classes have been set, there is very little chance of any changes being made.

If your family circumstances have changed, and your child/ren will no longer be attending Echuca East Primary, can you please ensure the front office know, so we don’t include them in a 2021 grade and we pass the necessary information to the new destination.

                 2021 Book of the Year Awards /Book Week Dress up Day

Finally this morning we announced the Shortlisted books and writers for this years’ 2021 Book of the Year Awards.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, these celebrations had to be put on hold until all students were back onsite. This years winners will be announced very, very soon at our Book Week Dress up day. We will keep you posted as to when (date still to be confirmed). But in the meantime, get ready, dust off your costumes and stay tuned. 

This years event again will look a little different to previous years. Unfortunately parents are still not able to come on the school grounds. We will be sure to take heaps of pictures to share with everyone in our newsletter and on social media 

We can't wait to see what wonderful creations you all come up with this year!!
