7-9 Life Skills 2

Year 7-9 Life Skills News

On Wednesday 16th December the Life Skills Year 7-9 Group (Surya.V, Sophie.B, Lucas.M, Stephen.D, Leo.P, Thomas.W with ES Nick, Vani, Suzanne, Phuong, Miss Huddlestone and Ms Ambelas), headed into the city to practise their travel training. Catching the bus from Brookside College to Caroline Springs Station to then board the V-Line to Southern Cross Station.

Arriving at Southern Cross Station to jump on a Tram to Bourke Street to compare the Myer Windows.

Needless to say the Brookside Windows were far superior, but we enjoyed looking at the history of all the different Myer Windows over the past decades. From there group headed to Melbourne Central to practise our social skills of ordering lunch and using money.

Once our bellies were full, we jumped on another tram down Swanston Street to Federation Square, were we got to meet Santa and take a quick photos and let him know that we had all been good and what we wanted for Christmas, before boarding the Metro train to Footscray Station to change trains back on to the V-Line and head home.

It was a fabulous day and great way to end the year that was 2020.
