5-6 Food Tech News

 

Year 5 students spent the last few weeks practising oven and knife safety. Students are becoming more efficient in following kitchen processes and working in small teams and negotiating tasks. 

Some reflected how much they enjoyed the vegetable pizza whilst others loved the zucchini and sweet potato muffins. 

Where possible, we substituted ingredients with the fresh produce grown in our school garden to teach students to be flexible and solve problems creatively when cooking. Here are some pics of students activities.
