Yenella News - Wellbeing Group

Yenella - New logo and name for Wellbeing Group

The Yenella logo is complete! The name Yenella meaning to lift or raise up was approved by  Gunai Kurnai Land and Water Aboriginal Cooperation (GLAWAC) for us to use as our Wellbeing College logo last year.   The tree offers support- food, oxygen, shelter, structure, and safety for the other animals that are part of the College logos.

The nodes on the tree represent

  • The Wellbeing counselling team
  • Clontarf
  • Girls at the Centre
  • The College doctors
  • The learning support staff

Welcome to all new students !

The Wellbeing team has enjoyed meeting a lot of new students during our first week back. We understand this time maybe stressful for some.  If you are feeling a little lost please come on over to the Wellbeing space at lunch time or recess for a quiet space.  You are not alone, you may even meet some new friends who are feeling the same.

Our College Nurse Sophie has provided the following resources that may be helpful for starting Secondary School.
