Scholastic Book Club
The latest Scholastic Book Club catalogue (Issue 1) was sent home with your child last week. You’ll find award-winning books and bestsellers, as well as old and new favourites!
Each order will help earn free books and teaching materials for our classrooms at St John's.
If you would like to order books from the catalogue, please do so by Friday, 19 Feb 2021. Unfortunately no late orders can be processed.
Please place your orders at scholastic.com.au/LOOP - no cash orders are accepted.

CSEF Payment
CSEF is an annual payment for parents, paid to the school and to be used for camps, sport, and excursion expenses for eligible students. Please read the attached information to see if you qualify.
Once you have filled in the form please return it to the school office. If you are having trouble downloading the application form, you are welcome to collect a hardcopy from the office. If you have any further questions please contact Jenny on 9874 1575 or email jmacleod@sjmitcham.catholic.edu.au

eSafety's parent guide to cyberbullying and online drama
This Safer Internet Day 2021 webinar hosted by the Office of the eSafety Commissioner will look at how parents and carers can support young people to have safe and respectful online relationships and what to do if things go wrong.
It will cover:
• starting conversations with your child about their online friendships and positive ways to deal with changing relationships
• understanding the rights, laws and community expectations that govern socialmedia use
• where to seek help if your child is involved in a cyberbullying incident.
The webinar will include case studies, research and targeted advice so you can support the young people in your life to have safe, enjoyable online experiences.
