大家好(da jia hao),

In the past few weeks, the students have engaged in various activities in their Chinese learning.

The junior students have consolidated their counting skills in Chinese and we made some “hundred-day flags” to mark one hundred days in school this year. Students are using different games and activities to engage in their oral language practice.

The students from middle year level continued their exploration in recognising the Chinese characters formations. They learnt the basic building blocks of Chinese characters, the strokes, as well as the different structures of the characters. The photos show the students are using jigsaw puzzles to enhance their understanding.

Last week, the students also participated in some Chinese activities on the Sport Day. Students played a traditional Chinese game of JianZi and practised their character writing skills.

As our very special 2020 school year coming to an end soon, I am very much looking forward to seeing a normal 2021 and we will have lots of fun learning in the new year!

Xie xie!
