Year 6 Graduation Finale
Last Thursday, Year 6 Graduation celebrated the achievements of our class of 2020 -- a year like no other. The event was streamed live into the homes of our families. Everyone had a front row seat!
Each student spoke, giving us an insight to their hopes and plans for the future. Awards were presented, most live and some virtual, and the students performed as a team.
Congratulations to every Year 6 student!
Well done to our Year 6 teaching team for your work in planning and presenting such an event for the students to take in their memories of Valkstone.
As Term 4 and the 2020 school year draws to a close, I would like to thank all of our families for their support throughout the challenges we have faced.
'Strength doesn't come from what you can do, it comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn't'.
I wish our Valkstone families a safe, refreshing break.
For the first time since March, all of our students will gather for Assembly before school finishes at 1:30 p.m. on Friday 18th December. Students will be home in time for lunch.
Due to restrictions on numbers for indoor gatherings, the Assembly is for students and teachers only. We are endeavouring to establish a virtual link for families. Please watch for a COMPASS notification.
Teachers will dismiss students from OUTSIDE their classrooms on Friday.
Parents are invited into the grounds to collect their children (Gates will be opened at 1:25 p.m.) and say goodbye to teachers OUTSIDE the classrooms.
Please keep social distance 1.5-m OR wear a mask.
Gates will be locked at 1:45 p.m.
