PUPDATE
Dodger has been very busy the past two weeks as we have had the opportunity to go on lots of exciting adventures as part of his training. Last weekend, he got to meet his brother Dookie for the first time since they left the puppy centre in July. I am positive they remembered each other! They look almost identical, except Dookie has a bigger white patch on his chest. We did a training walk near Dookie’s home, where they had to be on their very best behaviour and ignore each other as we were walking about. After that, they were both rewarded with a play. We also went on a train for the first time (which they both handled like professionals) which took us to Watergardens shopping centre where we had a walk around before heading on home. Dodger also got to spend some time with little Kryssa at the State Rose Garden in Werribee. There were lots of new smells for them to get used to, and the wind presented another challenge with all the flying leaves they had to ignore. Both Kryssa and Dodger did a fantastic job. Over the holidays, Dodger and I will be doing lots of café visits so he can continue to work on his ability to settle in public and new locations. We hope every one has a wonderful break and can’t wait to see you in the new year!
