There is an opportunity for your students to audition for the tertiary-level courses that are offered at the Patrick School of the Arts. Many of  students captivated by the performing arts would be extremely interested in the different courses they currently offer for those finishing their school studies at the end of this year.

 

Patrick School of the Arts is one of Australia’s leading performing arts schools, offering specialised courses to develop the country’s next generation of young, vibrant entertainers. The  institution prides itself on its commitment to provide the highest level of training paired with unmatched industry opportunities. The results are clearly reflected in their students’ success stories, and their ability to gain ongoing professional industry work.

They are currently accepting audition applications for their various courses, and would love to extend this opportunity to our students.

 

Our current offered courses include:

  • Tertiary Performing Arts
    • This is a full-time intensive dance course, designed to train and develop dancers in the areas of strength, flexibility, and creative expression. Highly professional performances are part of the curriculum throughout the 2 year course. Training styles include Jazz,
    •  Tap, Ballet, Acrobatics, Contemporary, Musical Theatre and Hip Hop. Courses are accredited through Swinburne University, and student funding is available.
  • Tertiary Musical Theatre
    • Directed by Andrew Hallsworth, one of Australia’s leading musical theatre choreographers, this course builds on the school’s strong dance reputation and compliments it with more focused and intense drama and vocal training. Courses are accredited through Swinburne University, and student funding is available.
  • Tertiary Foundation Musical Theatre
    • Similar to Musical Theatre, this 100% practical course is based on the industry’s current needs, and is designed to train and develop performers in the areas of dance, singing and acting, enabling them to establish long and successful careers in all areas of the Arts Industry. Courses are accredited through Swinburne University, and student funding is available.
  • Tertiary Acting – Stage & Screen
    • This full-time 1-year course provides a toolkit for students to be ready for diverse, long-term careers in the Theatre, Film, and Television industries. Students will be guided by industry leaders committed to nurturing their creativity and independence in a safe, supportive and inspiring environment.
