Uber Eats from the Chalk Café
With the inability to open Chalk Café to parents this term due to COVID-19, Hospitality students in Years 11 and 12 got creative offering an Uber eats style take-away service.
Students prepared a fantastic menu of mixed antipasto boxes; braised lamb shanks served with steamed greens, rosemary potatoes and gremolata; and custard and cream filled profiteroles.
Parents of Hospitality students and staff were invited to place orders for the meals they would like. Students prepared, packaged and delivered a mammoth 75 meals and should be congratulated on their efforts.
Thank you to everyone who supported the students with this activity. All the food prepared forms part of the assessments that the students are completing.
