Year 7 House Councillors
We recently inducted our eight Year 7 House Councillors. The Year 7 House Councillors are a voice for the Year 7s and take part in the student leadership for each House group. House Councillors meet regularly and assist in the running of House events throughout the year. Congratulations to the following Year 7 students on their appointment to this important role.

Positive Education and lessons
Students have continued working through activities to support their personal mental health. Last week they focused on character strengths and how we use them to overcome challenges. This week students reflected on meaning and purpose and the importance of finding meaning in order to have purpose in their life. Our final activity next week will see the students reflect on all the activities completed this term and develop their own Mental Fitness Plan.
Students also continued to practise gratitude. We have a few more photos and a short video from their gratitude displays.

Inter-House Uno and Chess Tournament

Students have been participating in the Inter-House Uno and Chess Tournaments during Extended House Group over the last two weeks. Competition was fierce but congratulations to Ramsden House who took out the Uno Tournament and Hale House who were victorious in the Chess Tournament. Congratulations to everyone who took part. A final tally of the results is below:
