Grade Prep Sustainability gardening and Creation

Our Inquiry topic is learning all about sustainability. We have created our very our Chia seed pots that have been growing throughout our time back at school. The children have been Predicting and observing the stages of plant growth. In religion we have been practising the 7 days of creation, the Prep class created an amazing mural with all of their drawings to display just outside the classroom. 

Grade 1/2... St Augustine's Community Project

Over the remote learning period, the grade 1/2 children worked on a community project which was part of the Inquiry unit for term 1. Children learnt about services and places in our community and how important they can be for everyone. Children became experts in different precincts such as: dinning, farming, entertainment, education, recreation and shopping.  Children were also challenged to use re-usable materials and find ways of making their precinct sustainable.

Mrs Falzon, Mrs Witchell and Miss Marissa are very proud of all 1/2 children for making such wonderful projects.

Junior School Animal Creation

Today the junior classes dressed up as their favourite animal as part of God's Creation. Look how amazing they all are!!!!
